4 Dessert Cups to Brighten Your Work Day

Autumn is just around the corner, and it’s time to infuse that cozy spirit into your workday treats! While the usual office desserts comprise cookies and chocolates, why not break from tradition and introduce some gourmet delights to your workplace? Grab some mini glass tupperware and let’s fill them with the flavors of fall!

From pumpkin spice to apple pie flavors, there's no limit to the creative and deliciousness you can prepare and bring to work. Not only will these desserts add a touch of warmth and comfort to your workday, but you will also be indulging yourself at your office desk while others munching on their cookies.

1, Pumpkin Spice Tiramisu

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons rum or coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 6 ladyfingers
  • 2 tablespoons chopped toasted pecans
  • 1 tablespoon caramel sauce
  • Whipped cream and cinnamon for garnish (optional) 

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.

  2. In another bowl, beat together the pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and mascarpone cheese until smooth. Fold in the whipped cream.

  3. Combine the brewed coffee and rum or coffee liqueur in a shallow dish. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, then break into pieces and place in the bottom of your tupperware container.

  4. Spoon a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfinger pieces and the remaining mascarpone mixture.

  5. Top with a drizzle of caramel sauce and sprinkle with chopped toasted pecans. Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired.

  6. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.


    2, Pumpkin Mousse

     Ingredients:
    • 1 cup pumpkin puree
    • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
    • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
    • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
    • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/2 cup crushed gingersnap cookies or graham crackers
    • Whipped cream and cinnamon for garnish (optional)

      Instructions:

      1. In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
      2. In another bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Fold in the whipped cream.
      3. Spoon a layer of crushed cookies into the bottom of your tupperware container. Top with a layer of pumpkin mousse.
      4. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of pumpkin mousse on top.
      5. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired.
      6. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

        3, Caramel Apple Parfait

         Ingredients:
        • 2 large apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
        • 1/4 cup maple syrup
        • 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
        • 1/2 cup granola
        • 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt / whip cream + maple syrup
        • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (e.g., pecans or walnuts)

        Instructions:

        1. In a saucepan, combine the chopped apples, maple syrup, and apple pie spice. Cook over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender but not mushy.
        2. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
        3. In your tupperware container, layer 1/4 cup of the cooked apple mixture, 2 tablespoons of granola, 2 tablespoons of yogurt, and 1 tablespoon of chopped nuts.
        4. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used, finishing with a sprinkle of chopped nuts on top.
        5. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

          4, Cinnamon Pear Crumble

           Ingredients:
          • 1 cup chopped pears
          • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
          • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
          • 1/4 cup oatmeal
          • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
          • 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (optional)
          • whip cream (optional)

            Instructions:

            1. In a bowl, mix together the pears, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Spoon into your tupperware container.
            2. In another bowl, mix together the oatmeal, melted butter, and chopped nuts. Sprinkle over the pear mixture.
            3. If prefer, spear some whip cream on top.
            4. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
